Marlborough – Janice Ann (Lally) Buhl, died Thursday, Feb. 25, 2016 after a brief illness.

She was born Dec. 28, 1929 in Minneapolis, Minn. to the late John and Elsie (Harwood) Lally. She met her loving husband of 58 years, Paul R. Buhl, in a bridge club, a game she enjoyed playing throughout her life.

A resident of Ashland for 54 years, she remained a city girl, at heart, who loved trips to New York. She was a fan of crossword puzzles and Jeopardy, and for many years volunteered at the Good as New Shop in Sherborn.

Besides her husband Paul, she is survived by her four children, Anne Klacik and her husband Gary, Paul Buhl and his wife Luce, Mary Dutta and her husband Anindya, and Kathleen M. Buhl, and four grandchildren, Arun and Caitlin Dutta and Thomas and John Buhl. She was also the sister of the late Louis White.

A funeral mass was celebrated Tuesday, March 1, at 10 a.m., at St. Matthias Church in Marlborough. Burial will be held at the National Cemetery in Bourne Tuesday afternoon. Arrangements are under the direction of the Slattery Funeral Home of Marlborough.
