Grafton – Susan L. (Schat) Gwozdowski, 64, passed away suddenly at home Wednesday, June 22, 2016.
She leaves her husband of 41 years, Thomas “Tom” Gwozdowski, and her daughter, Karen Gwozdowski Gauvin and her husband Chris.
Susan was born March 8, 1952 in Whitinsville, daughter of Christine (Lavallee) and Raymond Schat. Her roots were in Grafton, where she also lived for many years with her husband, Tom.
She worked as a billing clerk for State Mutual, Hahnemann Hospital and Providence House in Worcester for several years.
Closer to home, Susan spent summers following the Boston Red Sox and in the fall the New England Patriots. She also adored her five cats.
All are welcome to gather with Susan’s family and friends Wednesday, June 29, from 9:30-10:30 a.m., at Roney Funeral Home, 152 Worcester St., North Grafton, followed by the celebration of her funeral Mass at 11 a.m. at St. James Church, 89 Main St., South Grafton. She will then be laid to rest at Fairview Cemetery in South Grafton.
