To the Editor:
We want to thank the Grafton community for its support of Apple Tree Arts’ third annual Community Ice Cream Social. Everyone enjoyed celebrating the end of the school year with their friends and meeting new ones. Families and children had fun eating delicious bowls of ice cream. Many children had fun bouncing and jumping in the bounce houses, too.
Thanks to the local businesses and organizations that supported the Ice Cream Social. Swirls and Scoops donated the ice cream which we appreciate very much. Homefield Credit Union, Taylor Rental of Westborough and Mendon and Wegmans generously sponsored the event. NGES-PTG donated supplies as well.
A special thank you to the Congregational Church of Grafton for letting us use their freezers to store the ice cream. The congregation generously let us have our classes and offices in the church for the past year.
Our volunteers and staff served many bowls of ice cream. All proceeds benefit Apple Tree Arts’ music and theatre arts programs.
We appreciate the support of the community and look forward to this fall semester with all of our classes being held at the Grafton Town House, One Grafton Common.
