Westborough – Maryann Halterman, 56, of Westborough, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2017 at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. She was the wife of David L. Halterman.
Born in Marlborough, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Helen (Cantrell) Sauvageau, and was educated in Marlborough schools.
Maryann was the manager and co-owner of Carpet Lover Etc. in Westborough.
She was a member of the VFW Post 9013 Ladies Auxiliary and had been a resident of Westborough for 31 years.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by one son, James E. Blais Jr. and his fiancé, Carley Rivard, of Grafton; one daughter, Sarah B. McArthur and her partner, Kacie (Jade) Hartsough, of Westborough; two step-sons, Ronald Halterman of Milford and David Halterman of Uxbridge; one step-daughter, Helena Halterman of Ashland; two brothers, William Sparks of New Hampshire and Jack Sparks of California; two sisters, Sandra Bariteau of Westborough and Jean Sauvageau Curran of Hopkinton; and five grandchildren, Taylor, Lily, James, Calum, and Celena and many, many friends. She was the sister of the late Steven Sparks.
A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
