Region – The MetroWest Women's Alliance invites women in MetroWest community to put on their favorite pair of red shoes and join the group at the first annual Ruby Slippers Fund-raising and Networking Gala. The event will be held Tuesday, Sept. 20, 5:30 to 8 p.m., the Massachusetts Horticultural Society's Gardens at Elm Bank in Wellesley.
This exceptional evening will feature inspirational speaker Mina Samuels, recently featured on NBC's Today Show for her well received book, “Run Like A Girl.” Attendees will enjoy gourmet hors d'seuvres and desserts from Peppers Catering, have the opportunity to bid on unique auction items, network with other women from around the region, find inspiration and remember that there is “no place like home.”
