David C. Hureau, 48Northborough – David C. Hureau, 48, formerly of Clinton and Marlborough, died suddenly at home Sunday, Sept. 25, 2011.

Born in Marlborough, the son of Irene E. (Mahan) Hureau of Florida, he graduated from Assabet Valley Regional Vocational High School in 1981.

Mr. Hureau was the mail room supervisor at Waters in Milford for 20 years. He was an avid Harley Rider; enjoyed fishing; biking, music; and was a collector of antiques. He was an outgoing, fun loving and caring gentleman, as well as a constant joker.

He was devoted to his nieces and nephew. He leaves a brother, Christopher J. Hureau of Northborough; his sister, Annmarie I. McKinley and her husband Bryant “Mac” McKinley of Shrewsbury; two nieces, Kristen McKinley of Northborough and Jessica McKinley of Shrewsbury; a grandnephew, Treyvon, and grand niece, Jaida Harden, both of Northborough; uncle and aunt, Henry and Carol De Coteau; and two cousins, Nicole and Lisa.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Saturday, Oct. 1, at 11 a.m., in Immaculate Conception Church, Prospect Street in Marlborough. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery of Marlborough. Calling hours will be held Friday, Sept. 30, from 6 to 9 p.m., in the Fitzgerald & Collins Funeral Home. All are invited to sign Mr. Hureau's online guestbook at www.CollinsFuneral.com.
