Photography Exhibit 2011 now on view in HudsonHudson – The Arts Alliance and the Assabet Valley Camera Club are holding their annual Photography Exhibit at the Citizen Bank, 17 Pope St., Hudson. Twenty-two artists from eleven area communities are exhibiting their color, black and white, digital and traditional film prints. The public is invited to view the exhibit during the bank's business hours: Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Thursday and Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to noon. The exhibit will be on display through Dec. 9.

The Arts Alliance has a full season of art exhibits planned. Upcoming exhibits at Citizens Bank include the Still Life Exhibit in January, the Natural Wonders Exhibit in March, the Members Exhibit in April and the Summer Fun Exhibit in May. Additionally, the Art in the Hall Exhibits, which change quarterly, feature Marilyn Hanlon through mid December. In January, the exhibit by Kathleen Hebert will be at the Hudson Town Hall, 78 Main St.

The Assabet Valley Camera Club welcomes new members interested in photography. Beginner, intermediate and advanced photographers are all welcome. Meetings are on the first and third Wednesdays of the month at the Hudson Senior Center, 29 Church St. More information about the camera club can be found at assabetvalleycameraclub.org.
