Westborough – The 3rd annual In Your Shoes Polar Plunge will take place Saturday, Dec. 3, from 2 to 4 p.m., at Lake Chauncy in Westborough. “Kind-hearted souls” who are willing to take a quick dip in the lake to benefit charity are encouraged to participate. Come down to enjoy the entertainment, music, food and a toasty bonfire to warm things up. All of the fun is taking place to benefit In Your Shoes (http://inyourshoeswestborough.com/), a nonprofit organization that provides emergency funds to Westborough residents in need. This year, a portion of the money will benefit both the Westborough Youth and Family Services and the Westborough Emergency (Fire and Police) Services.
