Northborough – The Saint Augustine Council, Northborough Knights of Columbus will once again host a full, old-fashioned corned beef and cabbage dinner with all the fixins” March 17, starting at 6 p.m., in Saint Rose of Lima's Parish Hall. And, this year the very popular Irish soda bread will be made available both with and without caraway seeds, with enough made to satisfy all attendees.
The St. Patrick's Day event will be a fun-filled evening of entertainment, friendship and a traditional, hearty Irish dinner. There will be Irish songs and sing-alongs, plus clap-your-hands step dancing provided by local lads and lassies. There will also be a raffle to help support the Saint Augustine charitable works that go on every month throughout the year.
Tickets at $12 each are the same price as last year. Due to the popularity of this event, ticket sales will be limited to 200 tickets to prevent overcrowding as in years past. Tickets will not be sold or be made available at the door.
