Reliant Medical Group CEO announces retirement in March 2013Worcester – Worcester-based Reliant Medical Group has announced that Dr. Jack Dutzar, president/CEO will retire in March, 2013. Dr. Dutzar has been at the helm of Reliant Medical Group, formerly Fallon Clinic, for the past four years.

In a memo to the Reliant Medical Group staff, Robert Yood, M.D., chair of the Board of Trustees, wrote, “I know you will join me in congratulating Dr. Dutzar on reaching this important and well-earned milestone. I speak on behalf of the entire Board of Trustees when I say that Dr. Dutzar and his substantial contributions to Reliant Medical Group as our president/CEO will be profoundly missed. He has brought tremendous insight to our organization and set us on a path toward future success.”

Dr. Dutzar will be acting in his full capacity as president/CEO of Reliant Medical Group until he departs in March, 2013.

During the four years in which Dr. Dutzar has been with Reliant, the multi-specialty medical group has become the sixth member of Atrius Health, a non-profit alliance of six Massachusetts-based medical groups. The organization has undergone a name change, the first step in a broader rebranding effort, and continued its nationally recognized innovation in the area of electronic medical records. Under Dr. Dutzar's leadership, Reliant continues to design and deliver healthcare services that emphasize quality, patient safety and cost containment.
