Region – This week, with support of Governor Deval Patrick, Massachusetts Service Alliance (MSA), a nonprofit organization that serves as the state commission on service and volunteerism, launched a new campaign to help solve the challenge of easily identifying volunteer opportunities in Massachusetts.
The new YOU Generate campaign seeks to raise awareness of how volunteerism can help critical community needs in the state. The new website for the campaign, www.massvolunteers.org, acts as a user-friendly source to help residents research opportunities in their area.
MSA has partnered with non-profits across the state to help promote the campaign; participating central MA non-profits include United Way of Central Massachusetts and Family Services of Central MA (RSVP).
