Northborough – The deadline for orders for Phase 2 of the Friendship Brickway at the Northborough Senior Center has been extended until June 1.
According to the Friends of the Northborough Senior Center, the group responsible for the Brickway, the deadline has been extended to allow residents extra time to think about ordering an engraved brick to commemorate?upcoming special family occasions, such as a graduation or wedding.
Carolyn Squillante, the president of the Friends of the Northborough Senior Center, said that previous installed bricks “honor local people, places, organizations, and memories.”
“There's plenty of space for more bricks to be added this year,” she added.
Donations for this fundraiser support the Northborough Council on Aging and Senior Center activities.
The cost is $100 per brick. For an additional donation of $20, you may order a mini- brick replica (1?” x 3″) as?a keepsake of your commemorative brick.
Orders may be placed online at www.
