Mark Boutin, 53Marlborough – Mark D. Boutin, 53, of Marlborough, died Monday, May 21, 2012 at Marlborough Hospital. He is survived by his father, Joseph H. Boutin of Hudson, and pre-deceased by his mother, Lily A. (Lomas) Boutin in 2010.

He is also survived by his son, Christopher Boutin of Chicopee; his sister, Jo Ann Sedam of Northborough; his three brothers, Michael Boutin of Ausable Forks, NY, Matthew Boutin of Hubbardston, and Jean Boutin of Marlborough; his two grandchildren, Christopher A. Boutin and Alexia M. Boutin; and many nieces and nephews.

Mark was born in Wareham and spent many years residing in Marlborough. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1981 to 1984 when he was honorably discharged.

Following his service in the Air Force, he was employed as a non-destructive testing technician for several local companies, including Conam Inspection and Miller Engineering.

Mark enjoyed fishing and camping in his spare time, and was well known for his care and shelter of animals in need. He was a member of the Hudson Amvets.

Funeral services and burial in Mount Hope Cemetery of Swansea will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, 50 Central St., Hudson.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Mark may be made to Boston MSPCA/AHES Animal Shelter, 350 South Huntington Ave., Boston, MA 02130.
