Veterans Inc. asks for community support for annual Veterans Holiday Harvest

    Veterans Inc. asks for community support for annual Veterans Holiday HarvestWorcester – The Veterans Inc. annual Holiday Harvest will be held Tuesday, Nov. 20 at Veterans Inc., located at 69 Grove St in Worcester, starting at 10:00 a.m., for veterans in need of assistance. The organization will provide each veteran with a “Thanksgiving Dinner Food Box” that includes all the items to prepare a delicious dinner.

    Veterans Inc. is in need of additional food to be distributed and thus is asking for the public's help. It is now accepting donations of turkeys (all sizes), produce (bags of potatoes, squash, onions, etc.), stuffing, canned gravy, and cranberry sauce. Items may be dropped off at any time, night or day at its 69 Grove St., Worcester office.

    The annual Holiday Harvest is a critical resource that will help Veterans Inc. ?provide Thanksgiving meals to an estimated ?400 families this year.
