Marlborough Hospital assesses health needs of Marlborough and Hudson

Marlborough/Hudson – In 2013 Marlborough Hospital took part in a comprehensive Community Health Assessment, and also produced a supplementary brief focusing on Marlborough and Hudson – two of Marlborough Hospital's key service areas.

The brief examined the priority health needs of these two towns, with a specific focus on those who are most underserved. It will be used to help determine future community outreach activities and partnerships. Two areas of concern for the communities were health and wellness – including nutrition and exercise – and mental health services.

The data brief can be found by visiting www.marlboroughhospital.org and clicking on “About Marlborough Hospital” and then “2013 Needs Assessment.”
