Shrewsbury – Over 60 Oak Middle School students participated in a showcase recently as part of the school's talent show.??Ann Tomashefsky, who directed the show, praised the children who either performed or helped with the sound and lighting.
“It really was such a collective effort,” she said. “The acts were very unique and very diverse. Some kids sang, while others played instruments or danced. It was so heartwarming to see how much they all cared about practicing and being prepared for this.”
“It was also so touching to see how the audience responded,” she added. “They could tell that the kids really put their hearts into this and they gave [the students] a heartfelt standing ovation.”
