Northborough – Town officials have announced the following arrangements have been made for Spc. Brian Arsenault, who was killed in action in Afghanistan.
The wake and funeral services will take place today (Monday) and tomorrow at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, located at 244 West Main Street (Route 20) in Northborough.
The wake hours are 3-8 p.m. today and the funeral is at 10 a.m. tomorrow.
Traffic will be heavily impacted in that area and motorists passing through are advised to seek alternate routes to avoid congestion. Overflow parking is available across the street from the church at the Northborough Shopping Center. Police officers will be on hand to assist with traffic and parking.
The funeral procession route on Tuesday will be from St. Rose of Lima Church, heading east on Route 20 to the center of town, then left on Church Street and right on Whitney Street to the cemetery entrance. The procession is expected to leave the church at 11:30 – 11:45 a.m.
Residents are invited to show their support by lining the procession route and encouraged to bring an American flag if they do so.
