Northborough – Antoinette Klein, 79, of Northborough, died Friday, Dec.19, 2014.
Formerly of Pocasset; Deland, Fla.; Holland; and Indonesia, she is survived by her children, Alexander R. Klein and wife Jayne of Olney, Md., Ingrid M. Heyliger and husband Peter Mercury of Brewster, and Milly Klein and husband Tom Stainton of Falmouth. She leaves three grandchildren, Annie Heyliger and her partner Matt Davidian, CPT Nathan Klein (U.S. Army) and his wife Emily, and Andrew Klein. She also leaves four siblings, Jenny Tessensohn of Deland, Fla. and Willy Mansveld, Sylvia Mansveld, and Arnold Mansveld of Holland, and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. Her predeceased siblings were Diet, Stans, and Els.
Mrs. Klein was a prototype assembler at Data General Corporation, Southborough, where she retired after over 30 years in 1998.
She and her husband of 56 years, Robby C. Klein, who predeceased her in 2010, retired to Florida in 2004.
Prior to returning recently to Northborough, Mrs. Klein was an avid knitter, crafts enthusiast, a wonderful cook, a loving mother, and grandmother, and when she was younger she loved bicycling and swimming.
A memorial gathering will take place Tuesday, Dec. 23, from 4-6 p.m., at Hays Funeral Home, 56 Main St., Northborough.
