Westborough – A group of 13 Westborough High School National Honor Society members picked up over 1,600 flags at local cemeteries on Nov. 14, a cold Saturday morning, following Veterans Day. The event was done in partnership with the Westborough Veterans Advisory Board (including members Ken Ferrera, Brent French, and Paul Freeman) and led by NHS President Greg Cervenak. The Department of Public Works assisted with the effort in providing dignified disposal. Tom Dwyer, chair of the Trustees of the Soldier’s Memorials, was also instrumental to the effort.
