Westborough – Police Chief Alan Gordon released this statement this morning:

On 12/13/15, at approximately 6:25 PM, Officer David Holt was on a motor vehicle stop on Milk St near Nipmuc Dr. when his cruiser, a 2015 Ford SUV which was illuminated with its emergency lights on, was rear ended by a 2013 Toyota being operated by Sandra M. Gallen, age 67 of 15 Lawtons Way, Westborough.

Ms. Gallen was arrested by Officer Laura Rossi for operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol. Neither Gallen or Officer Holt were injured. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.

Ms. Gallen was booked at the WPD and then bailed for her appearance in WDC on Monday morning.
