Grafton Fire Department visits the Grafton Children’s Day Care and Preschool Center Photo/K.B. Sherman
Grafton – A bright red fire truck, lights flashing and whirligigs whirling, stood in front of the Grafton Children’s Day Care and Preschool Center on Old Westboro Road the morning of Dec. 16. The event was staged for the children there, ages four to eight, who “ooed!” and “awed!” at the display.
Present from the Grafton Fire Department were Assistant Chief Steve Charest, and Firefighters Eric John and Taylor Joncas. Also present were day care staff Cheryl Smith, director, as well as Crystal Roselund, Nora Towle, Julie Ploss, Jason Smith, Kristen Smith, Kristen Mashinsky, and Wayne Smith.
“The kids love this,” said assistant chief Charest.
As clearly did the adults.
