Shrewsbury – Isabelle A. (Grembla) Franson, 87, of Shrewsbury, passed away peacefully Thursday, April 13, 2017 at UMass Memorial Medical Center.
Isabelle’s husband, John J. Franson, passed away in 2010. She leaves her beloved daughter and caretaker, Lois Alkhouri, with whom she lived.
A period of calling hours will be held Friday, April 21, from 9-10 a.m., in the Mercadante Funeral Home & Chapel, 370 Plantation St., Worcester, with her funeral Mass to be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 34 Ward St., Worcester. Burial will follow in St. John’s Cemetery, Worcester.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in memory of Isabelle to the Alzheimer’s Association, P.O. Box 96011, Washington, DC 20090-6011.
