David C. Booth, 91, of Northborough

Northborough – David C. Booth, 91, passed peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family Sunday, Oct. 15, 2017.

He leaves his devoted wife of 66 years, Anne (Kane) Booth; his children, David R. Booth and his wife Valerie of Northborough, Kevin Booth of New Orleans, and Connie Gardella and her husband John of Worcester; and his grandchildren, Matthew and Maggie  Gardella, whom he adored. He also leaves a sister, Frances Grondell of Scituate, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Russell, and sisters, Betty and Shirley.

Born in Boston, he was the son of Robert and Florence (Tregoning) Booth and lived in Northborough for over 60 years. He graduated from Worcester Junior College earning his associate degree in business. He proudly served in the Army in a Tank Destroyer Unit as well as a Medic.  He served during WWII and the Korean, and Vietnam wars.

Dave worked at Addressagraph/Multigraph in sales and service for most of his career.

He was a member of St. Rose of Lima Parish and the Northborough Lions Club and a past member of the American Legion Post #234.

Up until the time of his illness, Dave continued to golf and play bridge. He thoroughly enjoyed every minute spent with his golf and bridge buddies. He enjoyed spending winters in Florida with his wife.

The funeral Mass will be held Saturday, Oct. 21, at 11 a.m., in St. Rose of Lima Parish, 244 West Main St., Northborough.

Memorial donations may be made to Jewish Healthcare Hospice, 629 Salisbury St., Worcester, MA 01609. The family wishes to thank the hospice staff for the exceptional care and support given to David and his family.
