Lillian CoxHudson – Lillian A. (Dubak) Cox, 87, of Hudson, passed away peacefully Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2017 at Beaumont Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center in Westborough, surrounded by her loving family, after a brief period of declining health.

Lillian is survived by two children, Jo-Ann M. Hayes and her husband Michael F. of Hopedale and James A. Cox of Clinton, and four grandchildren, Alexander Hayes, Nicole Boutiette, Christopher Boutiette and John Boutiette. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, James A. Cox; a daughter, Deborah A. Boutiette; her parents, Alexander and Augusta (Luckchetta) Dubak; and her sister, Mary Jackson.

Lillian was a graduate from Burdett College where she later became the private secretary to the president of a Boston-based accounting firm. It wasn’t long thereafter, she found herself in love and married to James Cox; and started a family of her own.

When she wasn’t busy caring for her own family she spent time both caring for others and gardening. Her yard, flowers and wild birds were her passions. Along with a deeply rooted love of nature, her warm kind ways always found the good in everyone and touched the hearts of many. She passed away comfortably surrounded by family and will be sadly missed and live in our hearts forever…
