Region – Hank Phillipi Ryan, an acclaimed TV reporter for WHDH-TV, who is also an award-winning mystery novelist, will be the guest speaker at the Tuesday, Jan. 9 Business Females Forward (BFF) meeting, the women’s networking group of the Corridor Nine Area Chamber of Commerce. The meeting will be held at the Courtyard by Marriott, 75 Felton St., Marlborough.
Ryan will discuss her newest book “Say No More,” crime fiction, her inspiration, and her life as one of Boston’s premier investigative reporters. “Say No More” is Ryan’s fifth installment from her award-winning Jane Ryland Series and is described as a “fast-paced, edgy mystery that seems ripped from today’s headlines.”
Attendees may also purchase copies of her book and have them signed as well.
The BFF meetings, which typically draw close to 120 local professionals, features a luncheon and opportunity for networking. Registration is from 11:45 a.m. to 12 p.m. followed by lunch and the program, ending at 1:30 p.m. The cost to attend is $24 for members of Corridor Nine and $44 for nonmembers (must prepay by credit card.)
