Shrewsbury – Elisabeth (Muller) Daniels, 90, of Shrewsbury, passed away peacefully at the St. Francis Nursing Home in Worcester Saturday, March 24, 2018. She was the wife for over 60 years to the late Lester Daniels.
She was a resident of Shrewsbury for over 60 years, most recently at the Shrewsbury towers. Elisabeth leaves many friends and relative in her native country of Germany.
She is survived by her brother-in-law, David Daniels of Paxton; her niece and caregiver, Diane McClintock of Worcester; and many friends, nieces and nephews.
She was a member of the Shrewsbury Senior Citizens Club, Germania Social Club and the Mount Olivet Lutheran Church. She was a professional seamstress for many years.
Elisabeth loved all her pets and was an avid walker. Everyone enjoyed her childhood stories of growing up in Germany and her world travels, she will be missed by all who knew her.
Family and friends will honor and remember Elisabeth’s life by gathering for calling hours Wednesday, March 28, from 10-11 a.m., at The Chiampa Funeral Home, ~Sumner House~, 5 Church Rd., On the Common, Shrewsbury. Her funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow at Mountain View Cemetery of Shrewsbury.
