Kathann M. BertoneSouthborough – Kathann Marie Bertone, loving wife to Gary W. Bertone, mother to Christopher M. Bertone and long-time resident of Southborough, passed away suddenly Sunday, April 15, 2018 while doing what she most cherished – spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband, son, and grandson Phoenix, and her sisters, Laurie M. Martel of Worcester, Annette M Diodati of Lawrence, and Carol M. Carey of Dennis; four brothers; her mother, Dorothy (Rowe) Thurman; and her mother-in-law and father in-law, Gerald and Janine Bertone of Haines City, Fla. Kathann loved spending time with her family, especially the nieces, nephews and grandson.

Kathy enjoyed vacationing with her husband, visiting family in Maine, Florida and California, cooking, crocheting, crafting and gardening.

She worked at various companies through her years as an inside sale representative, including Martin Sprocket and Gear in Milford, Motion Industries in Marlborough, Eastern Industrial Automation in Worcester, and Thermo Fisher in Franklin, making new friends where ever she went.

She loved going on the women’s retreats and attending the Early Riser meetings in Marlborough and was grateful for their support in achieving sobriety. Kathy always saw the best side of people, the bright side of life, always with a kind word and beautiful smile.

Relatives and friends are invited to Kathann’s Life Celebration visiting hours Thursday, April 19, from 4-7 p.m., at the Callahan, Fay & Caswell Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle St., Worcester, with a prayer service to follow at 7 p.m.
