Southborough – Sheila P. (O’Leary) Holland, 78, of Southborough, passed away peacefully July 5, 2018 after a long illness. She was the beloved wife of David J. Holland for the past 51 years.

Born in Toronto, Ontario, she was the daughter of the late Agnes (Weber) and Stephen M. O’Leary. Sheila moved with her family to Cambridge, and was a 1957 graduate of Mt. Trinity High School in Watertown. In 197,  Sheila and her husband settled in Southborough, where she raised their family and was an active member of the community.

She worked as the Administrator of St. Mark’s Church of Southborough for 37 years, and it was a role she truly loved.

In addition to her husband she is survived by her daughter, Denise Dresser and her husband Dennis of  San Francisco; two grandchildren, Ford and Blake Dresser; four sisters, Patricia O’Leary and Eileen Arnold, both of Cambridge, Maureen Fosher of Belmont, and Stephanie Deeley and her husband Thomas Sr of Charlestown; and many nieces and nephews. Sheila was predeceased by her son, Kevin.

Visiting hours will be held Monday, July 9, from 4-7 p.m., at Morris Funeral Home at 40 Main St., Southborough. A funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, July 10, at 10:30 a.m., at St. Matthew Church, 26 Highland St., Southborough. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
