Hudson – Marie T. Montecalvo, 94, of Hudson, passed away peacefully July 11, 2018 at Christopher House in Worcester.
Marie was born in Medford, a daughter of the late Nicholas and Helen (McKay) Montecalvo, and was the last survivor of eight children. She was raised in Hudson where she lived for 75 years and was a graduate of Hudson High School, class of 1941.
She was a member of the Hudson Historical Society, Hudson Library Book Club, Jericho Hill Ski Club, an avid golfer and loved to travel. She enjoyed trips to Greece, France, Italy and other parts of Europe. Marie was also an accomplished pianist and enjoyed spending summers in Falmouth.
Marie is survived by her 17 nieces and nephews, many great-nieces and great-nephews, as well as several great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings, Earl Montecalvo, Guy Montecalvo, Francis Montecalvo, Connie Kane, Elizabeth Cordella, Grace West and May Montecalvo.
Her funeral Mass was held July 16 in St. Michael Parish of Hudson, with final committal services in St. Michael Cemetery.
