Northborough – The GFWC Northboro Junior Woman’s Club will be holding their annual Apple Pie Café on Saturday, Sept. 15, at Trinity Church, Northborough, during Northborough’s Applefest celebration. The café’ will be open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Patrons can enjoy a delicious piece of warm homemade apple pie a la mode or apple crisp. The club advises that patrons come early if purchasing whole apple pies and crisps as they sell out quickly every year.
This year the club will also be featuring some new activities. There will be a Candy Buffet where you can purchase your favorite sweet treats. For the kids there will be apple pictures to color and word search sheets. They will also feature “The Selfie Station” so BYOC (Bring Your Own Camera), grab a prop and strike a pose!
A portion of the proceeds from the Apple Pie café’ will support a variety of community projects sponsored by the club.
