Dominic A. Colorio IIIGrafton – On Oct. 2, 2018, Dominic A. Colorio III, passed away suddenly at the age of 35.

Dominic was born Aug. 26, 1983 in Worcester, to Dominic A. Colorio Jr. and Lorraine Foley Williams. He was a brother to Rachel L. Gray (Colorio) and Olive M. Williams and proud father to Anthony S. Colorio.

Born to a large family and gone too soon, Dominic, better known as Nicky, is survived by his parents, Dominic Jr. and Jo-Ellen Colorio; Lorraine and Stephen Williams; his siblings, Rachel and Olive; step-siblings, Christy-lynn and Michelle; nieces and nephews, Kiara, Megan, Miah, Jackson, and Bennett; and grandparents, Dominic A. Colorio Sr. and his wife, Donna, Barbara A. Beauregard and her husband David. Nicky also leaves behind his life partner, Shelly Lubas, and a large extended family that includes many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded by grandparents Robert R. and Alice M. Foley.

Nicky will be remembered by family and friends for his fun loving nature, bright smile, fierce loyalty, and deep love for his son, Anthony. Nicky was thoughtful, caring, supportive and uniquely insightful into many of life’s challenges. He will be remembered for always seeing others with a positive attitude and in best the light. In the words of his Aunty Patty, with whom he shared a special bond, Nicky “was a beautiful soul.”

Though many of his lifelong aspirations and dreams remain unrealized, due to his untimely passing, his family and friends are comforted in the knowledge that his soul now rests at peace. Nicky will forever remain in the hearts and minds of all that knew him.

A celebration of Nicky’s life was held Oct. 7 at Roney Funeral Home of North Grafton.
