Boylston – The Hadassah Greater Boroughs Chapter is inviting the public to join them for an evening of comedy Sunday, April 28 featuring comedian Linda Belt. The event will be held at Cyprian Keyes Golf Club, 284 E Temple St., Boylston, starting at 6:30 p.m.
The event, the chapter’s biggest fundraiser of the year, will help to support Hadassah Hospital and medical research. The evening will a performance by Belt, as well as a live and silent auction, munchies and dessert with a cash bar.
Belt has performed at Mohegan Sun, the Laugh Factory in New York City and many comedy festivals throughout the United States and Canada. Originally from New Jersey, she now resides in her adopted state of Connecticut. According to her biography on her website (www.lindabelt.com), her humor “touches on the absurdities of modern life and explores marriage, sex, parenting and social mores, in other words: any subject she feels like discussing!”
Hadassah, the Women’s Zionist Organization of America, is a volunteer organization that inspires a passion for and commitment to the land, the people and the future of Israel. Through education, advocacy and youth development and its support of medical care and research at Hadassah Medical Organization, Hadassah enhances the health and lives of people in Israel, the United States and worldwide.
