Casual, upscale dining, elegant function rooms and championship golf course

Boylston – The weather is finally warmer, and the outside patio at Cyprian’s Restaurant, located at the Cyprian Keyes Golf Club in Boylston, hums with conversation as diners relax over drinks and hearty appetizers. Some have just finished a round of golf, some have been hitting balls at the driving range and others are here simply to sample the new spring menu and take in the views overlooking the beautifully maintained grounds.
Cyprian’s menu is casual, yet upscale, as it features selections not to be found elsewhere. Their house-brined corned beef and on-premise horseradish-beet-cured salmon take center stage. There are several gluten-free options from which to choose, including General Manager David Frem’s newest favorite: cauliflower-crusted pizza.
“We’ve worked hard to build our restaurant,” said Frem, adding that Cyprian’s consistently tries to go that extra step to bring its guests food which is tastier and more interesting than the standard dinner venues.
Not far from the restaurant, golfers can take advantage of either the 18-hole championship course or the nine-hole par-3 course.
“We try to provide a great golf experience for any skill level or age,” asserted Frem. “If you appreciate the game of golf, we’re happy to have you.”
The par-3 course, he continued, is a great place for beginners, kids or any golfer who is trying to hone their skills or strengthen their short game.
Cyprian Keyes also offers instructional programs to meet the needs of everyone, from beginners to seasoned players. For those beginners who haven’t purchased clubs but would like to learn to play golf, no worries! The Golf School at Cyprian Keyes will loan you clubs at no fee for the duration of your instructional program.
“We have a lot of affordable lesson and clinic options for people who are trying to get into the sport,” said Frem.
For experienced golfers seeking custom-fit clubs to enhance their game, the Cyprian Fitting Center has state of the art radar technology, TrackMan, which can analyze the physical and swing characteristics unique to each golfer and fit them with a set of clubs perfect for their own style of game.
In addition to dining and golf, Cyprian Keyes has an elegant clubhouse which offers five function rooms of various sizes. Each room can be booked for events of any kind, from bridal showers and weddings, to business meetings, holiday parties and corporate retreats. As always, Frem works with clients to ensure that they receive the best value when booking their event.
Although Cyprian Keyes has the attention to detail and sophistication of a private club, Frem stresses that it is always open to the public.
“You don’t have to be a member to golf, eat at the restaurant, take a lesson or book an event,” he notes. “Come experience us and enjoy!”
