Kathryn RisottiCotuit – Kathryn Risotti, 56, of Cotuit, passed away July 17, 2019 at Brigham and Women’s Hospital after a sudden illness. She was the sunshine in the lives of her family and all of those she touched.

Raised in Hudson, Kathryn was a highly valued employee at Clean-O-Rama in Portland, Maine.

Kathryn was predeceased by her parents, Elaine and Stanley Curtis, and is survived by her two children, Taylor Risotti of Boston and Zachary Risotti of Worcester; the love of her life, Mark Heartfield of Cotuit; her sisters, Susan Priest (David Priest) of Princeton and Sandra Maley (Michael Maley) of Southborough; her brother, Harry Curtis (Julie Curtis) of Sturbridge; and her aunt, Betty Anne Ritcey of Peabody.

Kathryn enjoyed spending time with family and friends. You could often find her relaxing at the beach, playing golf or in the middle of the dance floor. Kathryn’s love of life and beautiful smile will forever remain in our hearts.

Visiting hours will be held Monday, July 22, from 4-8 p.m., at the Slattery Funeral Home, Inc., 40 Pleasant St., Marlborough. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, July 23, at 10 a.m., at St. Matthias Church, 409 Hemenway St., Marlborough. Burial will follow at The Gardens at Gethsemane, 670 Baker St., W. Roxbury.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Kathryn’s memory can be made to support the work of neurosurgeon Dr. Nirav Patel at Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
