Northborough – It was a very cold day on Jan. 18 when just over two dozen women and men of all ages braved temperatures in the teens participated in a march in downtown Northborough as they sang songs in support of the planet and human rights.
Organizers said although the event was inspired by past women’s marches, they were distancing themselves from the national group that had sponsored those previous ones because of divisive comments national organizers had made.
The Northborough rally was co-sponsored by WAVE of Women Westboro and Indivisible Boros & Beyond.
