Hudson/Marlborough – Team registration is underway for the second annual Dodgeball Tournament to benefit the Hudson Youth Substance Abuse Prevention Coalition. Each player will get five chances to win door prizes with a total value of over $3,000. Trophies will be awarded for Most Spirit, Best Uniform and First Place.

Teams can consist of youth at least grade five, adults or intergenerational with up to eight players, six on the court and two alternates. Early-bird registration is $200 up to and including Friday, Feb. 28. Then registration will increase to $250 and close Friday, March 20, or when 12 teams have registered.

The tourney is scheduled for Friday, April 3 (snow date Saturday, April 4), from 6 to 9 p.m., at Assabet Valley Regional Technical High School in Marlborough. Proceeds will support substance-abuse prevention and addiction recovery efforts offered free of charge for middle and high school students.
