Westborough Police arrest Worcester man on firearm and drugs charges

Westborough – The Westborough Police Department released this statement this morning:

On Thursday, August 27th, 2020 at 2:52AM an Officer from the Westborough Police Department observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed on route 9 West in the area of Green Thumb. Upon stopping the vehicle, a query of the operator’s name revealed his right to operate a motor vehicle was suspended. Upon preparing to tow the vehicle, the operator became irate and approached the Officer several times attempting to gain access to a backpack within the vehicle. The Officer gave the individual several commands to remain where he was, however, he did not comply. The initial Officer arrived to assist where they then discovered the subject was attempting to access a backpack with a loaded firearm inside the vehicle. The suspect subsequently identified as Christopher Fuller of Worcester was placed under arrest for illegal possession of a firearm, possession with intent to distribute a Class B substance and several other criminal charges. Mr. Fuller was held on $15,000 dollars bail and is due in court Thursday morning.
