Westborough – Recently, the Westborough Police Department received a call asking for help apprehending four unusual “suspects.” This time the offenders were not of the human variety, but rather, four wayward cows that had wandered off from their home at the Uhlman’s Farm Ice Cream.
After their morning excursion, the cows were guided back home, the police noted, with the assistance of Westborough Animal Control Officer Melinda MacKendrick and a box of waffle cones from the ice cream stand.
“Never a dull moment in Westborough!” the police said on their Facebook page, to the delight of their followers. “We had our own mini cattle drive back to their home at Uhlman’s!”
