Marlborough – Families are invited to come to a special free event Saturday, Dec. 12 to pick up a free brand new stuffed animal for their child or children. The event is sponsored by the nonprofit group Kits for Kids, as a way to spread some holiday joy. The group will also be giving out gift certificates to local businesses.
The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Acorn Self Storage, 230C East Main St. (near the Price Chopper) in Marlborough. The toys and gift cards will be given out first come, first served and are donated through the generosity of several local businesses.
