Sheila G. MillikenShrewsbury – Sheila G. (Warren) Milliken, 71, lifelong Shrewsbury resident, passed away peacefully Dec. 10, 2020 at UMass Memorial Hospital – University Campus.

Born in Worcester, raised and educated in Shrewsbury, Sheila was one of five children of the late Floyd E. Warren Sr. and Ethel (Mayo) Warren. She graduated from Shrewsbury High School, Class of 1967, prior to attending David Hale Fanning Trade School’s Nursing Program.

For over 35 years, Sheila worked in the engineering research and development lab at the former Sprague Electric, now Allegro Microsystems, in Worcester, before retiring. In her free time, she enjoyed traveling and especially loved Switzerland. Most of all, Sheila loved her family, friends, cats, and dogs.

Sheila is survived by her son, Noel R. Milliken and his wife Sheri of Worcester; four grandchildren, Brittany A. Oldenburg of Worcester, Lane C. Milliken II of Rutland, and Patrick H. Milliken and Jessica A. Milliken, both of Worcester; her great-granddaughter, McKenna N. Bryne; her siblings, Floyd E. Warren Jr. and his wife Catherine of Millbury, Sharon E. Obara and her husband David of Millbury, and Sheryl A. Warren of Clearwater, Fla.; her nephew, James Obara; nephew and Godson, Daniel Obara; and Godson, Trevor Clark-Zamoider. Along with her parents, Sheila was predeceased by her former husband, Lane C. Milliken, and her brother, Jimmy Warren of Ft. Collins, Co.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Sheila’s family Tuesday, Dec. 15, between 9:30 and 10:30 a.m., at the Britton-Shrewsbury Federal Home, 648 Main St. Her funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. at St. Mary’s Church, 640 Main St., Shrewsbury. Burial will be held privately for immediate family at Mountain View Cemetery.
