Westborough town iconHopkinton to offer appointments for eligible Westborough residents 

Westborough – Fire Chief Patrick Purcell released a statement this afternoon regarding the lack of COVID-19 vaccines sent to the town.

“This week the Commonwealth offered zero (0) doses of vaccine to the community,” he said in a statement. “The Public Health Department has again placed an order for many doses this Monday and we hope to receive good news by the end of the week.
In lieu of this information the town of Hopkinton has opened availability at three clinics to residents of Westborough that are either in Phase 1 or are 75 years of age or greater. The links for these clinics are:

These three clinics are being held on Friday, Feb. 12, Monday, Feb. 15 and Tuesday, Feb. 16 at 28 Mayhew St., Hopkinton.
“I apologize that we are unable to provide you this service this week but we will continue to work hard to stay prepared to serve you when the vaccine does arrive,” Purcell said.
