Bolton – Flora (Dodds) Wilson, age 87, of Bolton, formerly of Hudson, died Dec. 31, 2021 at UMass Memorial Health Alliance, Leominster. She was the wife of the late Gerald G. Wilson of Bolton, a marriage of 50 years at the time of his death. Flora was born in New Castle on Tyne, England, daughter of the late Frederick and Edith Dodds.
Flora will be remembered by her family and friends for her giving nature, and her helpfulness to anyone in need. She was widely known for her wonderful cooking skills that she shared with her church, her senior center, the local elementary school or anyone in need. Her interests also included knitting, cards, puzzles and games, genealogy, gardening, trips with her Red Hats group, and traveling. Above all else she loved to spend time with her beloved family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all.
Flora is survived by her children Jacqueline and her husband James Neumann of Florida, Florence and her husband Robert Montalto of MA, Gerald Wilson and his wife Barbara of MA. She is also survived by her 12 grandchildren, Danny, David, Theresa, Courtney, Tori, Bobby and his wife Erin, Kelly and her husband Sean, Jimmy and his wife Stephanie, Michael and his wife Emily, Kara, Jenny and her husband David, Donny and his wife Julie, and her 14 great-grandchildren.
All services for Flora Wilson will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Tighe Hamilton Regional Funeral Home, 450 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749 is assisting the family with arrangements.
