Patricia A. WojnarGrafton – Patricia A. (Brown) Wojnar, 89, passed away February 4, 2022 at Blackstone Valley Health and Rehabilitation in Whitinsville following a lengthy illness.

She leaves her loving husband Walter Wojnar, her children, Peter Wojnar and his wife Elaine, Steven Wojnar and his wife Christine, her grandchildren Daniel, Nic, Amber and Joseph Wojnar and great-grandchildren Colt and Beau Wojnar.

Pat was born March 7, 1932 in Providence, RI, daughter of the late Laura (Flynn) and Ellwood T. Brown. Her roots were in Rhode Island where she graduated high school and earned her Associate’s degree from Hill College.

She worked for Metropolitan Life Insurance and also Finn’s Pharmacy in South Grafton.

Away from work Pat adored her family, she spent time at home with hard working hands sewing, quilting, knitting, and painting. She was an avid bowler and talented piano player. She and Walter could be found on the dance floor when the polka music started playing.

Always a woman of faith she was a devoted parishioner at St. James Church in South Grafton and was also a member of the Ladies Auxilliary VFW.

Her family extends their thanks to the staff at Blackstone Valley Health and Rehabilitation (formerly St Camillus) for the compassionate care they gave to Pat during her years there.

All are welcome to gather with Pat’s family and friends Wednesday February 9th from 9-11am at Roney Funeral Home 152 Worcester St. N. Grafton, MA 01536 followed by the celebration of her Funeral Mass at 11:30 at St. James Church 89 Main St. South Grafton, MA 01560. She will then be laid to rest at Fairview Cemetery in South Grafton.
