WESTBOROUGH – Westborough’s Hundredth Town Chorus is looking for a volunteer piano accompanist to share duties with its current accompanist.
When not playing, the accompanist would have the option of singing with the chorus.
The chorus is an all-volunteer treble chorus, rehearsing from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Wednesdays at Congregation B’nai Shalom in Westborough.
The chorus is not affiliated with the synagogue and there are no night or weekend obligations, as well as no fundraising or ticket selling.
All performances are free and held on Wednesday mornings. Any interested accompanists are invited to come to any of the chorus’ remaining concerts in May.
Founded in 1949, the Chorus currently includes members from Westborough, Northborough, Shrewsbury, Marlborough, Grafton, Hopkinton, Southborough, Millbury, and Uxbridge. Music includes holiday classics, Broadway favorites, popular music, and folk songs, as well as an occasional classical number.
