Marlborough – Andreas Tsanatelis, 87 of Marlborough died on Tuesday, August 30, 2022, at Marlborough Hospital surrounded by his loving family.
Andy was born in Pentalofos, Greece, the son of the late, Alexandros and Vasilik (Salamanis) Tsanatelis.
Andy worked the Marlborough Diamond Shoe Factory and retired from Rockport Shoe in 2000. He was a 50-year member of the Marlborough Chapter, Order of the AHEPA and a member of the Marlborough ITAM.
He is survived by his daughters, Bette-Jane Mallozzi and her long-time partner James Gomez of Marlborough, Eulia and her husband Fabielison Nunez DaSilva of Randolph, 2 granddaughters, Alessandra Tsanatelis Magalhaes, Jasmine Jennifer Garcia, sister-in-law, Meropi Tsianatelis of Marlborough and his first wife, Terezia Tsanatelis of Marlborough.
Andy was predeceased by his granddaughter, Michelle Nichole Mallozzi in 1979 and his brother Steve Tsianatelis.
A Funeral will be held on Saturday, September 3, 2022, at 10 a.m. in Sts. Anargyroi Greek Orthodox Church, 9 Central St., Marlborough. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Wilson St., Marlborough.
A Calling Hour will be held from 9-10 a.m. also in the Church.
