WESTBOROUGH – The next Trex Challenge film plastics collection will take place on Saturday, June 24, at Kohl’s, 7102 Shops Way, Northborough, from 8 to 9 a.m.
This will be the last collection until fall.
At the previous collection on Saturday, June 10, more than 186 pounds was collected.
Sponsored by the Rotary Club of Westborough, the collection accepts shopping bags, cereal bags, dry cleaning bags, ice bags, bread bags and plastic shipping envelopes.
What cannot be accepted – potato chip bags with metallic liners, brown mailers with bubble wrap inside, hard plastics, and any plastics with food residue.

Can’t get to Kohl’s? Collection bins are at Central One Federal Credit Union, 40 South St. (back parking lot); YMCA, 4 Valente Drive (near climbing wall); and Westborough High School (near the cafeteria and upper lot).
