Marlborough police search for man who escaped custody

MARLBOROUGH – A search is underway for a man who escaped police custody while undergoing a procedure at Marlborough Hospital.

The Marlborough Police Department is searching for Isaac Rivera, 24. He was last seen wearing a hospital gown and yellow socks.

According to a post on the department’s Facebook, Rivera was under arrest for charges, including domestic assault and battery, strangulation, assault and battery on a police officer and illegal possession of a firearm.

Police describe Rivera as Hispanic, about 5’7”, approximately 150 lbs and thin build, black hair, brown eyes and a goatee. Rivera has a large tattoo of “Jackie” on his right forearm. 

He has ties to Ashland, Natick, Lowell and Milford.

Police said that Rivera should be considered dangerous. Anyone with information about his location should call the Marlborough Police Department at 508-485-1212.
