HUDSON – The last landfill left in Massachusetts is scheduled to close in 10 years.

At the same time, the soil is depleted of nutrients from decades of agricultural practices.

Adopting widespread curbside composting is imperative to solving our looming waste and soil crisis. Communities need to start adapting now as building infrastructure and new habits takes time.

Join Green Hudson in their next Climate Café during which Bart Yeager from Black Earth Composting will be presenting.

The café will be Jan. 23 at 7 p.m. at the community room at Avidia Financial Center at 17 Pope Street. There will be time for questions. Light refreshments and juice will be served.
