Wesley Chapel, FL – Robert S. Dean, age 83 of Wesley Chapel, Florida passed away peacefully Wednesday February 14, 2024 at the Rucki Hospice Care Center on Dean Dairy Road, Zephyrhills.
He leaves his beloved wife Carol A. (Libbey) Dean of 61 years; son Robert S. Dean, Jr. and wife Robin; daughter Ellen M. Johnson and husband Brian; grandchildren Robert III, Nicholas and wife Halie, Anthony, Jessica and Fiancé Zachary; nephew Randall; niece Donna and husband Dennis. Robert is predeceased by sister Betty Marson.
Bob graduated from Shrewsbury High School in 1959, lived many years in Shrewsbury, Massachusetts and lived in Florida for the last 20 years. He was employed at State Mutual Companies, Worcester Ma. for over 35 years working with some of the earliest mainframe computer systems.
Bob enjoyed many years of retirement, always keeping busy working on landscaping, loved making his wood cutouts, listening to the Beach Boys and helping others with their taxes.
Memorial services will be held March 16, 2024, at 11:00 am at First Methodist Church, 38635 5th Ave. Zephyrhills, Florida 33542.
