North Grafton – Donald Roger St. Pierre Sr. 93, of North Grafton died peacefully at UMass Medical Center in Worcester.
Donald was born on July 30, 1930 in Sanford ME to Wilbrod and Yvonne St. Pierre. After graduation from St. Ignatius High School, he entered the Air Force where he served for 6 years.
In 1955, Donald married Cora Lantagne and together they moved to Massachusetts when Donald attended and graduated from Boston University in 1958. They settled down in Massachusetts, eventually living the last 14 years of Donald’s life in North Grafton.
Donald retired after a long career in Aerospace Engineering working for Raytheon and GTE Government Systems. He and his wife enjoyed going back to see the family in Maine for the holidays, and spending the winters in Florida.
He was a Grand Knight and District Deputy of the Knights of Columbus, Marlboro MA Council. He also enjoyed attending and watching numerous sports with his family, specifically the Red Sox, Patriots and College Football.
He is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Cora; sons Donald St. Pierre Jr of Worcester; Richard St. Pierre of North Grafton; James St. Pierre (Annie) of Slaton TX; and daughter Annette St. Pierre (David) of Millbury; along with a number of grand and great grandchildren.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, April 19 at St. Mary’s Church 17 Waterville St. North Grafton, MA 01536. Burial will be held in Sanford ME.
